The sizing advice is OK -- the first time you try it on, it will be (very) snug; it'll get better the more you use it.

Rollerblade Lightning 80 Skates

I brought some Rollerblade Lightning 80s recently to try inline skating again after 30+ years away from the sport. My original instinct was to buy the Twister 80s, but I ended up buying the Lightnings on price. I’ve since found I can still skate (hooray!), and now I wish I’d spent more and brought the Twisters. I have found the Lightnings a bit soft in shin support, and perhaps the Twisters would be a bit better in that regard. Other than the shin support, the Lightnings seem great. Comfortable, good buckles and laces, wheels and bearings that are good for beginner - intermediate skaters. One thing I have found is that the 85A wheels are very grippy, so I have to be a little careful with T stops. Maybe that will change with more use. Customer service from InlineX was excellent, helping me choose the right fit for my skating style. Much appreciated.

Rollerblade Lightning 80 Skates

The inline skates that I purchased arrived internationally very quickly and with no issues. The WhatsApp customer service was also helpful in answering questions I had before purchasing the skates.

Rollerblade Lightning 80 Skates

Supper confortable, like zip tieing pillows to your feet. All the comfort and padding does meen you lose some control compared to carbon boot. Sizing is pretty much rigth; my feet are 28.0 and 28.5cm, I wish the size 10/10.5 shell was a few mm smaller, but the 9/9.5 are way to small. Memory buckels are amazing. Bottom buckle was easy to remove as a runners knot provides good heel lock without the need for buckle here. Premium feel and build. Get some 80a wheels for indoor. RB should provide a rockerable frame stock (Why a fixed frame RB?). Good skate, highly recomended for all day skating, wide feet, and beginers. Intermediate/advanced skaters who want to do tricks may want to look at something more tight fitting with a thinner liner, or downsize ever so slightly (28.8cm foot in a 28.5cm shell) as I notice some movement in the boot/liner when doing slalom tricks and toe rolls etc, whereas my Crossfire's dont move but become uncomfortable after a while. I measured the shell with a tape measure at aprox 30.0cm
