The Flying Eagle L6 Lumos Kids Inline skates boast a high-impact hard-shell boot with adjustable sizing, ensuring a perfect fit as your child grows. The boot features a highly supportive cuff that provides optimal ankle support and a good range of forward flex. The removable and washable liner ensures ultimate comfort with its breathable and supportive design, making these skates a great choice for all-day fun.

Sized to your boot:

EU 28-32: 62mm-64mm/85A wheels
EU 33-37: 70mm-72mm/85A wheels
EU 38-42: 74mm-76mm/85A wheels

📏 Size Adjustment & Liner Break-in

Only the hard shell extends when you move the skate up a size. The liner has no adjuster of its own. Its front section is Lycra, the same stretch fabric used in sportswear, and it stretches to fill the longer shell after a few skating sessions, so a snug or slightly tight feel right after adjusting is normal and eases with use.

Extend the shell one size step at a time.
Let the skater use the skates for a few sessions before judging the fit.

We were told that the skates are adjustable and can be lengthened as her feet grows. Realized only the outer shell is extendable, the inner boot is fixed and it's pointless to extend the outer shell when the inner boot stayed the same. My girl's feet is already hurting due to the constraints. Messages sent to hopefully rectify this is read but unanswered.

The liner front is elastic and stretches to fill the extended shell after a few sessions of skating, so the tight feel right after adjusting is normal. 📏FE Kids Size Chart

Flying Eagle S7 / S9 kids skates use an adjustable push-button shell that expands across 5 EU sizes per pair. Match your child’s foot length in cm (Mondo) to a bracket below — for growing kids, pick the bracket where their foot sits in the lower half of the range.

How to measure: Place a sheet of paper against a wall on a hard floor. Stand the child on it with their heel against the wall and mark the tip of the longest toe. Measure the distance in centimetres — that cm value is the Mondo size to match against the chart.

Adjustable shell

The push-button shell expands across 5 EU sizes. Each bracket above (27–31 / 32–36 / 37–41) is one pair that covers the whole range.

Fitting for COMFORT

Size up to get the most wear out of each pair. If your child is EU 31 today, buy the 32–36 bracket, not 27–31 — they’ll grow into it.

Fitting for PERFORMANCE

Buy the bracket their foot is in now (lower half) and add a thicker insole to take up the front gap while leaving growth room.

Insoles

If the skate runs loose after sizing up, drop a regular shoe insole on top of the stock one to take up space. Remove it as your child’s foot grows.

✓ How it should feel

Extremely snug at the sides. Space at the toe is fine — the child is growing. Toes touching or reaching the front is the best fit.

✗ How it should NOT feel

Toes curling up. Heel lifting in the skate after the buckles are tightened. Significant slop side-to-side at the ankle.
