Echo Founder's Edition 4 Wheel Freeskates — the first Echo freeskate, individually numbered. Skate them, or keep them boxed as a collector's piece.
The shell and cuff are moulded from a high-quality, durable PP with fibre, built on the same spacious Verve last, and closed with Echo's own 160cm × 10mm laces plus an adjustable power strap and an oversized cuff buckle. Echo's 3-step vertical cuff bolt lets you run the cuff low, high or in between.
Echo Flush Mount is the headline: the frame integrates directly into the shell with no visible bolts or fittings, mounted on the wide, sideways-adjustable Y hardware. The frame wings transfer power cleanly through every stroke and drop the ride height to as little as 1.5mm from foot to wheel. Inside sits the premium “Hygge” liner — lasted individually to each size in a neoprene, Lycra, EVA and polyester mix with a 2mm high-density TPE shock absorber, an anti-slip heel patch and adjustable anti-pressure-point patches.
Sized to your boot:
- EU 41–42: 185mm Flush Mount · 4×80mm · ABEC 7
- EU 43: 195mm Flush Mount · 4×90mm · ABEC 7
Four-wheel frames use solid two-piece axles with 2mm up-and-down rockerable spacers.
- Look: All black, numbered Founder's Edition.
- Best for: Urban · freestyle · everyday skating
- Skill level: Intermediate to advanced
- Bonus: Individually numbered first-run edition · Echo Flush Mount, ride height as low as 1.5mm · 2mm rockerable spacers · owners get a QR code into Echo's development feedback forum · recommended max rider weight 100kg

📏Echo Freeskate Size Chart
The Echo freeskate range (Sonar 3-wheel, Sonar 4-wheel and the Founder's Edition) comes in single EU sizes, and every liner is lasted to its own size — measure your foot length in cm and match it to the row below. Echo's own guidance: the fit is spacious and generous, so experienced and pro skaters who want it tight should take one size down.
How to measure: Place your foot flat against a wall on a sheet of A4 paper. Draw a line at the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance to the edge of the paper — that cm value is the size to match.
| Foot (cm) | EU | UK | US | Insole | Flush mount |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 22.9 – 23.4 | 36 | 3.5 | 4.5 | 224mm | 145mm |
| 23.5 – 24.0 | 37 | 4.5 | 5.5 | 230mm | 145mm |
| 24.1 – 24.6 | 38 | 5 | 6 | 236mm | 145mm |
| 24.7 – 25.2 | 39 | 5.5 | 6.5 | 242mm | 165mm |
| 25.3 – 25.8 | 40 | 6.5 | 7.5 | 248mm | 165mm |
| 25.9 – 26.7 | 41 | 7.5 | 8.5 | 257mm | 165mm |
| 26.8 – 27.5 | 42 | 8 | 9 | 265mm | 165mm |
| 27.6 – 28.2 | 43 | 9 | 10 | 272mm | 175mm |
| 28.3 – 28.8 | 44 | 9.5 | 10.5 | 278mm | 175mm |
| 28.9 – 29.4 | 45 | 10.5 | 11.5 | 284mm | 175mm |
| 29.5 – 30.0 | 46 | 11 | 12 | 290mm | 175mm |
| 30.1 – 30.6 | 47 | 12 | 13 | 296mm | 175mm |
Width Guide
Echo builds these wide — interior shell width runs 91mm (EU 36–38), 95mm (39–40), 99mm (41–42), 103mm (43–44) and 107mm (45–47).
Width
A wide, spacious last — Echo's own note is "great fit for wider feet". Narrow feet can snug it up with a thicker insole or sock.
Fitting for COMFORT
Take your normal shoe size — the liner is lasted true to size. Round up if you fall between sizes.
Fitting for PERFORMANCE
Take one size down — Echo recommends downsizing for a tight, locked-in fit.
Shell
Freeskate PP-with-fibre shell on the Verve last — interior shell length is 252mm (EU 36–38), 266mm (39–40), 282mm (41–42), 295mm (43–44), 313mm (45–47).
Liner
Echo "Hygge" liner — lasted individually to each size, with a 2mm TPE shock absorber, an anti-slip heel patch and adjustable anti-pressure-point patches.
Wheelbase
243mm up to EU 42, 270mm from EU 43 — the Flush Mount length (above) scales with it, so wheel size steps up with shell size.
✓ How it should feel
A snug fit — toes touching or reaching the end and feeling tight when the skates are new is fine. As long as your toes are not curling up, the boot and liner expand and widen as they break in.
✗ How it should NOT feel
Toes curling up against the front, the foot sliding around, or the heel lifting after tightening — that means the skate is too small; size up.
Size Chart Disclaimer. This chart reflects measurements supplied by Echo Skates. Applies to the Echo Sonar 3-wheel, Sonar 4-wheel and Founder's Edition freeskates, sold in single sizes EU 36–47. We cannot be held responsible for incorrect size purchases — when in doubt, message us before ordering.
