Reign Ares Junior Hockey Skates — a size-adjustable junior inline-hockey skate that grows with your child, built to get young players hooked on hockey early.
Inline hockey is fast, intense and addictive, and a well-fitting skate is what lets a young player build skills and confidence. The Ares Junior's glass-fibre reinforced shell is supportive yet responsive for clean power transfer on every stride, while a built-in Endo-Skeleton cuff adds lateral support and an integrated velvet-lined liner over an EVA innersole keeps the fit comfortable session after session.
One boot, four sizes — grows with your skater. The Ares Junior's shell extends to cover a full four-size range, so a single pair keeps fitting as your child's feet grow. Pick the bracket that fits today and extend the boot as they grow — one pair lasts multiple seasons instead of being outgrown in months.
Sized to your boot:
- EU 28–31: Powerslide Ares Jr. 212mm aluminium frame · 4×70mm Reign X-Grip wheels · ABEC 5
- EU 32–35: Powerslide Ares Jr. 219mm aluminium frame · 4×72mm Reign X-Grip wheels · ABEC 5
- EU 36–39: Powerslide Ares Jr. 231mm aluminium frame · 4×76mm Reign X-Grip wheels · ABEC 5
The Powerslide Ares Jr. frame is 3D-stamped from 6061 aircraft aluminium and double-axle riveted for a stable, low-to-ground ride, and the cast Reign X-Grip wheels run a high-rebound compound that keeps rolling smooth and grippy. A full waxed-lace closure locks the foot in for a secure, customisable fit.
- Look: Clean black hockey-boot finish with Reign branding
- Best for: Inline hockey, recreational skating, growing kids
- Skill level: Kids — beginner to intermediate
- Bonus: Adjusts across 4 sizes · 4mm hex tool included · EN 13843 certified

📏Reign Kids Size Chart
The Reign Ares Junior is a push-button adjustable junior inline hockey skate — each setting extends across an EU range so one pair grows with your child. Measure your child’s foot length in cm (Mondo) and match it to the adjustable range below.
How to measure: Place your child’s foot flat against a wall on a sheet of A4 paper. Draw a line at the tip of the longest toe and measure the distance to the edge of the paper — that cm value is the size to match.
| Foot (cm) | EU | US (Kids) | UK |
|---|---|---|---|
| 18.5 – 20.9 | 28 – 31 | Jr.10 – 13 | Jr.9 – Jr.12 |
| 21.7 – 24.1 | 32 – 35 | 1 – 4 | Jr.13 – 3 |
| 24.9 – 27.3 | 36 – 39 | 5 – 7 | 4 – 6 |
Adjustable Sizing
Push-button adjustable shell — each setting extends across an EU range. Match your child’s foot length in cm to the range above.
Fitting for COMFORT
Upsize to make full use of the range — pick the setting your child’s foot falls into at the smaller end, then extend the shell as the foot grows.
Fitting for PERFORMANCE
Upsize and add a thicker insole to fill the space for a snug fit now.
Adjustable Shell
Push-button shell extends across the size range — lengthen it as the foot grows, so one skate lasts several sizes.
Liner
Padded junior hockey liner — it breaks in and moulds to the foot.
Insoles
Add an insole to fill space if you upsize; remove a layer as the foot grows.
✓ How it should feel
Extremely snug at the sides; space at the toe is fine as the child is growing — toes touching or reaching the end is best.
✗ How it should NOT feel
Toes curling up, or the heel lifting in the skate after tightening.
Size Chart Disclaimer. This chart reflects measurements supplied by Powerslide Reign. The Ares Junior is a push-button adjustable inline hockey skate covering EU 28–39 across three settings. We cannot be held responsible for incorrect size purchases — when in doubt, message us before ordering.
