Playlife Smile G Kids — where smiles and safety skate hand in hand: the perfect companion for your little one's first strides into the skating world, designed with beginners in mind.
The sturdy polypropylene Unibody hardboot gives budding skaters the support and stability they need, with a soft Smile liner (EVA padding, expandable toe area) keeping growing feet comfortable. Size adjustment couldn't be easier — a convenient reel on the heel modifies the internal boot size in seconds, so the skate keeps up with growing feet. At just 2.1kg a pair, it never bogs kids down.
Adjustable — sized to your child's foot:
- EU 26–29: 188mm Smile Unibody frame · 4×60mm Playlife Smile 80A · ABEC 5
- EU 30–33: 200mm Smile Unibody frame · 4×64mm Playlife Smile 80A · ABEC 5
- EU 34–37: 218mm Smile Unibody frame · 4×70mm Playlife Smile 80A · ABEC 5
Two micro-adjustable buckles (top and 45°) make for a quick, secure fit kids can manage themselves — and the innovative SCS Speed Control System lets them slow down or even block the wheels for an extra layer of confidence while learning.
- Look: Appealing lavender with a cheerful smiley design
- Best for: First strides, park rides and neighbourhood adventures
- Skill level: Beginner
- Bonus: Heel-reel size adjustment · SCS speed control brake · expandable-toe liner · lightweight 2.1kg · 4mm hex tool included · also available in a blue Boys version

📏Playlife Kids' Size Chart
Playlife kids’ skates adjust over several sizes as the foot grows. Match your child’s current EU size to the range below and extend as they grow.
How to measure: Place a sheet of paper against a wall on a hard floor. Stand on it with your heel against the wall and mark the tip of your longest toe. Measure the distance in centimetres — that cm value is your size.
| EU | MONDO (cm) | US Kids | UK |
|---|---|---|---|
| 26 – 29 | 17.1 – 19.5 | Jr.10 – Jr.13 | Jr.9 – Jr.12 |
| 30 – 33 | 19.6 – 21.9 | Jr.13 – 3 | Jr.12 – 2 |
| 34 – 37 | 22.0 – 24.3 | 3 – 5.5 | 2 – 4.5 |
Width Guide

Narrow Medium

Medium Wide
Wide
Playlife kids’ skates are a medium fit.
How it adjusts
These skates extend over several sizes — release the sizer under the toe and slide to the marked size, so one pair grows with the foot.
How to choose
Match the current EU size to the range below. Start at the smaller end and extend as the foot grows; a thicker sock takes up early slack.
✓ How it should feel
A secure hold at the set size with toes just short of the end and the heel seated. Room to extend one or two sizes as the foot grows.
✗ How it should NOT feel
If the toes already reach the end at the largest setting it is outgrown; if the foot slides at the smallest setting, add a thicker sock or size down.
Size Chart Disclaimer. This conversion follows Playlife’s official chart and is indicative only. These are adjustable, multi-size skates; choose by the current foot length and extend as the child grows. We cannot be held responsible for incorrect size purchases — when in doubt, message us before ordering.
