💬Description
The way into the HERON platform. Same shell, same H-Mount, same rockerable frame as the Pro S7680 — built to a friendlier price, with a softer, more cushioned liner that suits skaters still building hours on their feet.
The frame and wheels are matched to your boot size, not mixed on one skate: EU 36–39 gets the 231 mm frame on 76 mm wheels, and EU 40–45 gets the 243 mm frame on 80 mm wheels. Smaller feet keep a short, quick wheelbase; larger feet get the roll to match. Flip the rockerable axles and the same skate turns from a stable cruiser into a slalom setup.
Underneath sits the H-Mount, a wide aluminium plate roughly three times the width of a conventional 165 mm block. Power spreads across more of the foot and the frame sits lower, while staying 165 mm compatible — so when you outgrow this setup, the frame is yours to change rather than a closed system.
Best for: urban skating and freestyle — city cruising, first slalom, and learning to ride switch.

📏FE Heron w H5 Liner Size Chart
The Flying Eagle HERON SF60, fitted with the H5 multi-foam liner, is an aggressive skate sold in dual sizes — each shell covers a 2-size EU bracket. Measure your foot length in cm (Mondo) and match it to the bracket below; the US columns show Men's and Women's. Each shell gets a Soulframe made for it, so the wheelbase in the last column is the one your size actually ships with. The HERON Pro uses the lower-volume ZERO liner and a different, half-size chart — do not read across.
How to measure: Place your foot flat against a wall on a sheet of A4 paper. Draw a line at the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance to the edge of the paper — that cm value is the size to match.
| Foot (cm) | EU | US (M) | US (W) | UK | Shell | Shell length | Wheelbase |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 22.5 – 23.5 | 36 – 37 | 4 – 5 | 5 – 6 | 3 – 4 | XS | 24.2 cm | 247 mm |

Width Guide
The HERON last is a Wide fit — Flying Eagle built it with an extra-wide toe box and a medium arch, and it runs true to size.
Width
The HERON is a Wide fit (see the Width Guide above) with a heel that still holds — it is aimed at skaters who find conventional hardboots pinch. Match your foot length in cm (Mondo) to a bracket above.
Fitting for COMFORT
Buy the bracket your foot falls in. The multi-foam liner has padding around the ankle and an expandable toe box that gives a little with use, so a snug new fit is normal — don't oversize.
Fitting for PERFORMANCE
Take the lower bracket if you fall between two and want a tighter, more connected feel for grinds and technical work.
Shell
Hard boot with a flush bottom — no mounting plates — and a one-piece Soulframe sized to that shell. Each shell covers a 2-size EU bracket.
Liner
H5 multi-foam liner with breathable mesh, PU reinforcement and an expandable toe box. Cushioned rather than low-volume, and it packs out slightly with use.
Insoles
Ships with the standard insole. A thinner insole frees roughly half a size of space if you land between brackets.
✓ How it should feel
Snug all round, toes reaching the front and just brushing it, the heel locked down once the cuff is closed, and no movement side to side.
✗ How it should NOT feel
Toes curling against the front, the heel lifting when you flex forward, or the foot sliding inside the shell — on an aggressive skate that costs you control on landings.
Size Chart Disclaimer. This chart reflects measurements supplied by Flying Eagle. The HERON SF60 ships in dual sizes EU 36–45 (XS–XL). We cannot be held responsible for incorrect size purchases — when in doubt, message us before ordering.
